Hailey Lind. Shooting Gallery: An Art Lovers Mystery (2006) 339 pp. [pbo]
While Annie Kincaid takes a look out the window at an art gallery opening she notices that a piece of modern art is really the corpse of the artist. To top it off a Chagall painting is stolen from the museum next door and her friend Bryon is accused of the theft. When Annies mother shows up in town she discovers a connection between her mother, the victim and the prime suspect. With the help of Bryon, her faux art studio employees, a sexy art thief and even her mother, she might track down the stolen painting and a murderer.
