The Bancroft Library, in collaboration with Octavo, a publisher of digital books, is pleased to present five video presentations that explore the history and research activities of the Library. These excerpts are part of a video documentary that traces the origins, collections, and services of The Bancroft Library, one of the nation's leading archival and special collections repositories. We hope you enjoy these excerpts and invite you to explore The Bancroft Library through our web site (bancroft.berkeley.edu) or in person. Octavo created this video as a prototype for a series, "Great Libraries of the World." Our thanks to Chet Grycz, Octavo Digital Books, Bill Allard, Gary Handman, and Erica Nordmeier for their contributions to this project.
