The Bancroft Library offers a variety of facilities, services, and resources for Berkeley faculty members pursuing individual or collaborative research projects, or teaching undergraduate and graduate courses that utilize Bancroft Collections.

Faculty are invited to consult our printed and online resources, and to explore topics with Curatorial and Public Services staff. To support classes engaged with Bancroft Library materials, faculty members may reserve Bancroft seminar rooms and consider a wide range of resources available in the Bancroft Library.

UC Berkeley faculty are invited to request materials for their personal or class use ahead of time. Email requests should be submitted no less than 1 week in advance, to permit retrieval of materials from off-site storage and to confirm the availability of specific items.
