Callisto Piazza da Lodi (1500-1561), nine drawings and autograph notes in Francesco Petrarca, Sonetti e trionfi, Venetiis per Philipum Venetum, 14 Aug. 1482 (Hain, 12761). f. 4v, crude design of a man with one hand raised. f. 15v, a design of a standing woman dressed in a robe. f. 15bis, a folio inserted between ff. 15 and 16, dated March 29, 1559; "Io Calisto de la Piaza confesso aver auto et receputo scuti cinque d’oro et [.] quatro d’oro dal S. Camillo Vigna Tesorier di Santa Maria Coronata per causa de la pitura de la Chapella di Santa Ana che è in dita Choronata che io depingo et ornare et questi scuti none sono per parte di pagamento di dita Chapella et in fede dela verità io Calisto de la Piaza i’ò scripto et sotto scripto el presente scripto di mia propria mano a dì et ano sopra scripto. Io Calisto de la Piaza i’ò scripto et sotto scripto el presente scripto de mia propria mano. Che sono in tutta suma £ 51 scudi II. Videlicet livre cinquanta una e soldi quindici imperiali.". f. 34v, a design of the upper body of a male with a cape over his shoulders. f. 34bis, a folio inserted between ff. 34 and 35 contains a receipt written by Callisto Piazza for money received from Camillo Vigna, dated 3 July 1559. f. 37v, a sketch of the upper torso of a nude man. f. 40v, a design of a robed woman pointing her finger. f. 40bis, a folio inserted between ff. 40 and 41 contains a receipt written to Pope Paul IV, dated 18 October 1559. f. 62v, a design of a man’s arm, with a crude copy of the same below. f. 79v, a design of two rampant lions, one in lead. f. 79bis, a folio inserted between ff. 79 and 80 contains a receipt written by Callisto Piazza to Camillo Vigna. f. 112v, a design of a standing woman dressed in a robe. f. 112bis, a folio inserted between ff. 112 and 113 contains a note of purchase by Callisto Piazza addressed to "Al Magnifico Domino Andrea di Casali batiloro a l’incontro a Santo Michel al Galo apreso ali orefici. In Milano". f. 116v, a partial sketch of a face. f. 138v, a design of a woman’s head.
In addition to the designs and autograph notes by Callisto Piazza da Lodi, there are random notes, accounts and pen trials throughout the volume. On f. 61v is the birth note: "Ano 1526 mese decembre 15 che nascete Rinaldo di sere dito Albanese a ore 5 e meza di note fiolo de mi Oliver, che so fiol de domino Rinaldo di sere dito de Albanese"; f. 68, "Memoria come el puto de d. Chalisto nascete in venerdì a hore 23 a dì 21 de aprile 1536" (repeated on f. 139).
