Berkeley chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) asks for an investigation of UC.

AS/NS arranges financial assistance for non-signers and thanks Regents who voted against their dismissal.

With Warren’s support, Legislature enacts Levering Oath, a new loyalty oath required of all state employees.
