American Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities (ACCD)A coalition of national, state, and local disability organizations active from 1975 to 1983, ACCD brought a cross-disability perspective to the movement and took a leading role in the national effort to force implementation of section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and passage of the Education of all Handicapped Children Act of 1975.
