City Arts & Lectures online archiveSince 1980, City Arts & Lectures, a San Francisco-based non-profit, has presented events with leading figures in the world of art & ideas. The City Arts & Lectures online archive ( http://bit.ly/2pUeDY) includes over 1,000 digital audio versions of lectures and onstage conversations with outstanding figures in literature, criticism, science, and the performing arts that have been featured on the City Arts & Lectures radio program. The online collection can be browsed through here or individual interviews can be searched through Oskicat, the UC Berkeley Library's online catalog. The online archive is available to the general public on computers in UC Berkeley libraries. Under the terms of our license agreement, only current Cal students, faculty, and staff members can access the interviews online using a UCB IP address or proxy service. To read more about access, please see: http://blogs.lib.berkeley.edu/whats-new.php/city-arts-aamp-lectures-online-archive. This collection is an ongoing project, and will be updated with each new season as it completes. |
