City Arts & Lectures online archive

Since 1980, City Arts & Lectures, a San Francisco-based non-profit, has presented events with leading figures in the world of art & ideas. The City Arts & Lectures online archive ( includes over 1,000 digital audio versions of lectures and onstage conversations with outstanding figures in literature, criticism, science, and the performing arts that have been featured on the City Arts & Lectures radio program.

The online collection can be browsed through here or individual interviews can be searched through Oskicat, the UC Berkeley Library's online catalog.
