Shig’s Review #80
Titled “Five North Beach Cappiccino [sic] Artists,” this issue included five postcards. The first is an etching of Washington Square Park, dated 1988, by Cynthia Schafer. The other four postcards consist of (clockwise from upper left) a remarkable drawing of Shig by Caffe Trieste regular Don Moses; a Joe Zygaj water color; Norman Quebedeau’s psychedelic rendering of the Caffe Trieste, “Life Among the Cappuccino People”; and a Mary Boyd Ellis woodcut.
