Shig encouraged his John Murao’s interest in photography, and John would take his camera along when visiting  his uncle and his uncle’s friends. The photos on this page taken between 1977 and 1997, are from an exhibition in Palo Alto circa 2002. This photo shows Allen Ginsberg and Shig in Shig’s Grant Avenue apartment.
