Davetta ThiBeaux Transcript
Davetta Thibeaux was born in 1948 in San Francisco. In this wide-ranging interview, Ms. Thibeaux offers her perspective of the Oakland Army Base from multiple vantage points:  as a civilian employee in the 1960s, as a witness to protests during the Vietnam War, as an enlistee with the Army in the 1970s, and as a civilian employee of the base in the 1980s, providing support services to military families.
