Louise Harris Transcript
Louise Harris was born and raised in the American South. She then migrated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1945 in search of work. She worked for two years at the Oakland Army Base (OAB) before being laid-off in 1947. By 1950 she was again working as a clerk at the OAB and stayed there until she retired in 1984.
