Steve Darrow was born in 1949 in Berkeley, California. Darrow worked as a civilian employee of the U.S. Navy between 1972 and 2006. During that period of time he held a number of positions. For a period of time he was employed at the Naval Public Works Center, which was on the Oakland Army Base.
