This CD was based on a talk with musical examples, narrated by Robert H. Hirst, and recorded at a live performance by the San Francisco Choral Artists in October 2003.
On the cover: Clemens at the piano in 1908, with his daughter Clara and a family friend. Clara was a trained contralto who briefly pursued a professional career.
