Curator of the Bancroft Collection, Western Americana

Carola DeRooy
Curatorial Assistant

A number of people supported the realization of this exhibition. Carola DeRooy contributed many hours of research, helped in the conceptualization of the exhibition, identified countless items as we determined the material for inclusion, and wrote the extensive text labels for the pieces in the Panama-Pacific International Exposition section of the exhibition. Wayne Silka also helped with research on the Constitutional Convention section and with locating material. David Farrell and Marilyn Kwock selected and wrote the text related to the Henry J. and Edgar F. Kaiser in the California First Days section. And thanks to my many colleagues who contributed to this exhibition in other ways.
