cal fact: The more famous companion painting to "Washington Rallying the Troops at Monmouth" (Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze, 1854; in the Morrison room) is Leutze's "Washington Crossing the Delaware," in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan. "Monmouth" was found rolled up in the basement of Hearst Gymnasium
